R-2 Contractors is a civil and underground construction company based in Redmond, Oregon. We opened our second office in Arizona March 2021. Our expert team has many years of experience constructing renewable projects of all types and sizes. Services include clearing, grading, roads, trenching, cable plowing, foundations, pads and SWPPP.
R-2 Contractors will self perform clearing, access road construction, landing construction, pole excavation, foundations, trenching, conduit/vault installation, cable plowing, rock sawing and horizontal directional drilling on transmission and distribution projects of all scale.
Whether it’s a greenfield substation or a live 500kV retrofit project, R-2 has the expertise to self perform all grading, foundations, conduit and grounding. Our crews are well trained and have the right equipment to get it done, safely. We understand the stringent specifications our customers place on this work and the important outage windows that come along with it.
From traffic signals, to street lighting and airport illumination, we have the background and experience to get the conduit, vaults, foundations and pads done efficiently and safely.
